As you are aware, this year CBSE has again implemented year end only one examination in the assessment scheme for the academic year 2022-23. So only one board exam will be conducted at the end of the year. In this exam entire syllabus will be covered as mentioned by CBSE.

Blueprint Sample Paper Information Technology Class 10

As you know, the information technology class 10 syllabus is divided into two parts:

1. Employability Skills – 10 Marks
2. Subject Specific Skills – 40 Marks

The blueprint for Sample Paper Information Technology Class 10 is as follows:

Part A – Employability Skills – Sample Paper Information Technology Class 10

This part has 5 units:

1. Communication Skills
2. Self Management Skills
3. Basic ICT Skills
4. Entrepreneurial Skills
5. Green Skills

Unit 1 Communication Skills and Green Skills are not going to assess in the board exams as they are assessed for internal exams only.

Part B – Subject-Specific Skills – Sample Paper Information Technology Class 10

This part covers 4 Units s follows:

1. Digital Documentation advanced
2. Electronic Spreadsheet Advanced
3. Database Management System
4. Web applications and security

Marks Distributions

General Instructions for Sample Paper Information Technology Class 10

The question paper carries 50 marks and 2 hours will be given for writing answers.

1. Please read the instructions carefully.
2. This Question Paper consists of 21 questions in two sections: Section A & Section B.
3. Section A has Objective type questions whereas Section B contains Subjective type questions.
4. Out of the given (5 + 16 =) 21 questions, a candidate has to answer (5 + 10 =) 15 questions in the
   allotted (maximum) time of 2 hours.
5. All questions of a particular section must be attempted in the correct order.
6. SECTION A – OBJECTIVE TYPE QUESTIONS (24 MARKS):
   i. This section has 05 questions.
   ii. Marks allotted are mentioned against each question/part.
   iii. There is no negative marking.
   iv. Do as per the instructions given.
7. SECTION B – SUBJECTIVE TYPE QUESTIONS (26 MARKS):
   i. This section has 16 questions.
   ii. A candidate has to do 10 questions.
   iii. Do as per the instructions given.
   iv. Marks allotted are mentioned against each question/part.
