Now from the academic year, 2022-23 CBSE has again restored the board examination structure. Now the exam will be conducted by the board at the end of the academic year with the whole syllabus. So you need to split up the syllabus month wise.

Unit wise distribution of marks 2022-23 computer science class 12
As per the syllabus linked above the distribution of marks and periods is as follows:

Split up Syllabus 2022-23 Computer Science Class 12 – April 2022
The CBSE schools in India Generally start the new academic year from 01/04 every year. So my school also has started the same. I have planned the topics Python revision tour of class XI and Functions to be completed in April.

Split up Syllabus 2022-23 Computer Science Class 12 – June & July 2022
In July we have periodic test 1. I have planned Data File handling topics up to text files in June and Binary files in July 2022. You can plan according to your school’s academic yearly plan.

August, September & October 2022 Split up 2022-23 Computer Science Class 12
As per our school academic plan, I have August and September full months except for a few holidays. So I have planned to complete the topic CSV files and Data Structure – Stack in August.

From September 2022 I have planned two units to be completed parallelly.
- Unit II – Computer Networks
- Unit III – Database Management Systems
As Unit II Computer Network Computer Science Class 12 covers more theory topics so including Unit III Database management system to balance theory and practical periods.

In computer networks, I have planned the topics: evolution of the network and data communication terminologies whereas in Database Management Systems, I have covered Database Concepts and SQL up to describe table command.
In October, the whole month we have Term 1 or Half-yearly exam and Diwali break for students.
November & December 2022 Split up Syllabus 2022-23 Computer Science Class 12
The school will reopen after the Diwali break in November 2022. I will get almost the whole month of November and December, so planned accordingly.
In November 2022, I have planned the topics Transmission Media and Network devices from Computer Networks and DDL, DML commands from Unit 3 Database Management System.
In December 2022, I have planned to cover these topics from Unit II Computer Networks and Unit III DBMS:
- Network Protocols
- Introduction to web services
- Aggregate Functions
- Joins
- The interface of python with SQL Database
From November or December, students will also start the project work coding part. In February generally the practical will start to be conducted.
January 2023 – Split up Syllabus 2022-23 Computer Science Class 12
Our school has planned the pre-board examinations for the month of January 2023. So I have planned to complete the syllabus by December 2022.
